Adam Kilbride responded to the challenge in January by increasing his lead to 21 points at the end of February, over Max Richardson. In fact there was no change in the Top 4. So, at the end of the month Adam still leads with 1816 points, Max is 2nd with 1795 points, Kieran Follett in 3rd with 1778, and David Groves in 4th with 1776 points.

MOTM for February was Paul Rogers with 357 points, well clear of Ally Townend in 2nd on 336 points. Paul had a very consistent month to claim his first prize money of the season. Joe Stone and Barney Le Fevre just missed out on second with 333 points. Paul wins £30 and Ally wins £10.

I made a good start to the month using my 'Free Hit' in Week 25, then Week 26 had Mo Salah triple captain written all over it. Surely no one else would notice. I got one part right with Mo Salah scoring 84 points, the only problem was most people also had him as Triple Captain. I did okay finishing 17th for the month and moving up to the heady heights of 30th in the league.

Rollover '100' - First person to score exactly 100 points wins £25, the last person will win £100. In Week 9 we had our first person score the magical 100 points. Kieran Follett struck lucky when Jamie Vardy went off injured at half time only scoring 1 point and giving Kieran the 100 points and £25. Then in Week 26 Mike Barnard struck lucky with only having Salah as a normal Captain, and scoring 100 points. Mike is in pole position but *remember the last person(s) to score 100 points in the season that wins the £100 jackpot.

The Kick Off Cup moved on to the 3rd round in February 2022. It was the Top 8 for the month of February (of those who qualified Top 16 in January) who qualify for the next round in March (see right).

Highest Weekly Score - The Highest Weekly score had stood since Week 9 with Max Richardson scoring a brilliant 129 points. However, that was blown out of the water in Week 26, with Nathan Sims scoring a massive 168 points thanks to Mo Salah's 84 points, and 6 other players in double figures. It's going to be a very difficult score to beat.

The TJG League is still led by Adam Kilbride, with Paul Rogers moving up to 2nd and Andy Barnett dropping to 3rd.

What a start to year. Adam Kilbride started the year with a 59 point lead but that almost disappeared in one week to Max Richardson, who has had a flying start to the year. So, at the end of the month Adam still leads but now by only 4 points from Max. Kieran Follett also had a good month and has moved up to 3rd. Adam has 1492 points, Max 1488 points, Kieran 1467 points, and David Groves in 4th with 1488 points.

MOTM for January was Max Richardson with 229 points, a long way clear of Kieran Follett in second. It was only a 3 week month but Max was manager of the week for 2 of those weeks scoring 94 & 101 points. This was also Max's second MOTM of the season after being successful in October. Seamus Tunney was just outside the prize money for the second month running, missing out by just one point. Max wins £30 and Kieran wins £10.

Another very average month treading water in the lower reaches of the table. If people who don't even check their team are scoring more points than you, you know you're doing badly. I also crashed out of the cup way below the cut line.

So we come to the end of the year, and last seasons champion, and Canada's finest, Adam Kilbride, is setting the pace again with a massive 59 point lead to take into 2022. However it is really close behind him with only 5 points separating Andy Barnett in 2nd and Kieran Follett in 5th. Adam has 1328 points, Andy 1269 points, Max Richardson 1267 points, David Groves 1266 points, and Kieran 1264 points.

MOTM for December was Ted Barnwell with 369 points in a long six week game month, that saw many games postponed because of our friend Covid. A very consistent month for Ted which saw him home 14 points clear of Adam Kilbride in 2nd with 355 points. Seamus Tunney was just outside the prize money. Ted wins £30 and Adam wins £10.

Another pretty poor month scoring only 292 points, a massive 77 points behind Teds effort. One week I only scoring 28 points, and 18 of those points came from 3 Arsenal players! However, at least I qualified for the next round of the cup in 25th place.

Month 4 November, and the Fantasy Kick Off league saw normal service resumed with reigning champion, and Canada's finest, Adam Kilbride storming into the lead with 973 points. Adam has opened a bit of a gap over the chasing pack but it is very close after that with only 9 points between 2nd and 5th. Max Richardson is 2nd on 939 points, with Joe Stone and Kieran Follett making up the top 4.

MOTM for November was Adam Kilbride with a very impressive 291 points. In 2nd place was Kieran Follett with 280 points. Nathan Sims was just outside the prize money. Adam wins £30 and Kieran wins £10.

It gets worse! Watching Chelsea keep clean sheets for fun and no Chelsea defenders in my team, I decide to draft Reece James and Marcus Alonso. Reece James had scored 53 points in the 4 weeks before I signed him up, he scored 1 point in his first 4 weeks in my team, including 3 games at 90 minutes.

Month 3 October, and the Fantasy Kick Off league saw a significant change at the top. Leader Marvin Simmonds dropped out of the top 5, Joe Stone jumped from 3rd to Top, and Andy Barnett moved up to 2nd place. Reigning champion Adam Kilbride is in 3rd place, with Max Richardson making a significant move up to 4th. Only 12 points separates Joe Stone (691 points) and Max Richardson (679 points).

MOTM for October was Max Richardson with a very impressive 290 points. Max was well clear of Seamus Tunney in 2nd place on 271 points. Andy Barnett finished just out of the prize money, 2 points back on 269 points. Max wins £30 and Seamus wins £10.

I had even more of a shocker than last month, somehow ending up with Odsonne Edouard as Captain (4 points) when in the same week Mo Salah scores 24 points against Man Utd. At least I'd got Salah back in my team! Worse was to follow when I forgot to change Captain with Crystal Palace away to Man City. As it happens Palace won 2 - 0 but Edouard again only scored 4 points. It can only get better!

Month 2 September, and the Fantasy Kick Off league didn't see much change at the top with Marvin Simmonds, maintaining top spot from reigning champion Adam Kilbride, with Joe Stone and Barney Le Fevre tucked in behind.

MOTM for September was David Groves. He held off a late challenge from Neil Connolly to win by just 4 points, with Marvin Simmonds just 1 point out of the prize money.

I had a shocker but I know who to blame, Ronaldo and Lukaku. Unlike everyone else, I dropped Mo Salah like a stone, when they arrived. The only person to drop like a stone in September was me, finishing the month in 35th place.

We didn't have anyone claim 100 points in August or September but I think it was 5 players scored 99 points or 101 points. The Fantasy Premier League is back for a new season, with full stadiums and Cristiano Ronaldo to come! We welcome a few new players but have lost a few as well but still ended up with 47 players, which is still good (Prize money above)

Month 1 August, and the Fantasy Kick Off league saw a rapid start by Marvin Simmonds, breaking 100 points in Week1. Marvin managed to maintain the lead up to the end of August, 6 points clear of Jon Banks, and 7 points clear of Barney Le Fevre and Joe Stone. Reigning champion Adam Kilbride is only 2 points further back.

MOTM for August was of course Marvin Simmonds. He held off a late challenge from Jon Banks, to claim the first Prize Money of the season. Unfortunately with the reduced number of players, the MOTM prize money is reduced this season. Marvin wins £30 and Jon wins £10. Barney Le Fevre and Jon Banks were the unlucky players, missing out on second by just one point.

I got off to a flyer, with Bruno Fernandes as Captain scoring 40 points. However, my new found optimism didn't even last the first weekend! Not too bad a start overall for the first month, in 22nd place.

So another season comes to an end, a season with no fans until the end but now there is hope! We say goodbye to Sergio Aguero, one of the greatest strikers to play in the Premier League, and provider of one of the most iconic moments (See above).

Month 9 May, and the Fantasy Kick Off league came to a conclusion. When the dust settled Canada had a new hero to worship in Adam Kilbride. He's right up there with Celine Dion, Jim Carrey, Shania Twain, Bryan Adams, Justin Bieber, Ryan Gosling and Michael Buble! Adam had a storming end to the season, leaving everyone in his wake. His performance was so impressive he finished 1376th in the whole game, and 15th in the whole of Canada (narrowly beaten by Celine Dion). Barney Le Fevre a former champion himself, was the only person in touching distance of Adam, after another very good season. After a brilliant last month, Mike Barnard came from nowhere to claim 3rd place and Jason Parsons narrowly claimed the last money place in 4th. Adam wins £170, Barney £70, Mike £45, and Jason £25.

MOTM for May was Mike Barnard who got off to a flyer in Week 35 (see more details later) and held off all comers to win the month with an impressive 321 points. Kieran Follett and Adam Kilbride shared the Runner up spot with 310 points. Mike wins £40 and Kieran and Adam pick up £10 each. Jon Banks, Dickon Payne and Marvin Simmonds were the unlucky players to miss out, all scoring 302 points.

I got worse and worse as the season went on, which all came to a head in Week 35. Man Utd had 3 games, so obviously 3 players and Captain. I thought I'd go a bit left field to catch everyone out, MOTW, MOTM and highest weekly score were in the bag!. Captain Shaw, scored 2 points (doubled to 4) from 3 games, Fred scored 4 points, and Wan Bissaka 8 points. So playing Bench Boost and everyone playing at least twice I managed only 87 points. Worse was to come the following week where I forgot to check my team so had Captain and Vice Captain not even playing! At the end of the season I finished 33rd, only 378 points behind Adam.

Then drama in Week 35 when Karl Jones scored 99 points but because John Stones didn't play he was replaced by his only player on the bench to play, who was Nampalys Mendy of Leicester, scoring the all important 1 point for his 13 minutes on the pitch, giving Karl the magical 100 points and the £100 prizepot! (I'm not sure he even realises he's won)

The Kick Off Cup Final took place in May 2021 with the Top 2 players for the MONTH of April battling it out. It ended in quite a one sided affair with Adam Kilbride easily beating Joe Stone by 50 points. Adam picks up another £50 and Joe £25.

Highest Weekly Score - The first Highest Weekly score was in Week 2 with Hazar Khan scoring 100 points, that was overtaken in Week 14 by Barney Le Fevre with 103 points but that was blown out of the water in Week 19 by Metin H scoring a massive 140 points. Remember its the score shown on the website, so isn't adjusted for extra transfers (cont. below)....

Then in Week 35 Mike Barnard played his Bench Boost (35 points) and Captained Bruno Fernandes (38 points). Along with some other good performances, Mike finished the week on 152 points to claim the £50 prize.

The TJG League was easily won by Adam Kilbride on 2548 points, with Mike Barnard 2nd with 2415 points and Joe Stone in 3rd place with 2380 points. Jon Banks was next but out of the prizemoney. Adam wins £70, Mike £25 and Joe £15.

Month 8 April, so we are down to a two horse race but we have a new leader in Adam Kilbride. Adam used his triple captain to good effect on Harry Kane in Week 32, and a very good month saw him overtake long time leader and former champion Barney Le Fevre. Adam leads on 2238 points, Barney is 2nd with 2217 points, then a big gap to David Groves in 3rd on 2133 points. There is actually a good battle for 3rd place with Joe Stone, Jason Parsons and Stewart Murdoch in close contention.

MOTM for April, and one of the reasons he is now top of the league, was Adam Kilbride with an impressive 331 points, well clear of Joe Stone in 2nd place with 308 points. Adam played his 'Wildcard' and 'Triple Captain' to secure the win. Adam wins £40 and Joe picks up £20. Brantley Graham was the unlucky player in 3rd place, and out of the prize money.

My month doesn't even deserve a mention. 33rd for the month, and about 30th overall is not going to get anyone excited.

A familiar pattern this month was followed in the Cup, with Adam Kilbride and Joe Stone being the 2 players to qualify for the final in the month of May. The unlucky player who just missed out was Barney Le Fevre.

Highest Weekly Score Leader - The first Highest Weekly score was in Week 2 with Hazar Khan scoring 100 points, that was overtaken in Week 14 by Barney Le Fevre with 103 points but that was blown out of the water in Week 19 by Metin H scoring a massive 140 points. He played Bench Boost which yielded 29 points and John Stones scored a massive 27 points on his own. Remember its the score shown on the website, so isn't adjusted for extra transfers.

Month 7 March, saw a return to the dreaded International break, where England try out 100 players over 3 games but still no place for Mark Noble. Barney Le Fevre consolidated his lead Adam Kilbride has also consolidated in 2nd place, and opened up a nice gap to Stewart Murdoch in 3rd place. David Groves and Jason Parsons make up the Top 5. Barney is on 1928 points, Adam on 1907 points and Stewart on 1858 points.

MOTM for March was a tie between Dickon Payne and Gary Earle. Dickon played his 'Free Hit' in Week 29 to try and secure the win but his Captain Aubameyang ultimately let him down. Gary played his 'Wildcard' and nearly pulled it off with an impressive 81 points but both players had to settle for a tie. Dickon and Gary finished on 217 points, with Matt Saxby just behind in 3rd place with 214 points. Both players win £30 each.

I played my 'Triple Captain' to try and kick start my month. The Captain (Gundogan) did okay but most of the others let me down. The rest of the month was average fare and I consolidated 'mid table obscurity'.
