Adam Kilbride responded to the challenge in January by increasing his lead to 21 points at the end of February, over Max Richardson. What a start to year. Adam Kilbride started the year with a 59 point lead but that almost disappeared in one week to Max Richardson, who has had a flying start to the year. So we come to the end of the year, and last seasons champion, and Canada's finest, Adam Kilbride, is setting the pace again with a massive 59 point lead to take into 2022. However it is really close behind him with only 5 points separating Andy Barnett in 2nd and Kieran Follett in 5th. Month 4 November, and the Fantasy Kick Off league saw normal service resumed with reigning champion, and Canada's finest, Adam Kilbride storming into the lead with 973 points. Adam has opened a bit of a gap over the chasing pack but it is very close after that with only 9 points between 2nd and 5th. Month 3 October, and the Fantasy Kick Off league saw a significant change at the top. Leader Marvin Simmonds dropped out of the top 5, Joe Stone jumped from 3rd to Top, and Andy Barnett moved up to 2nd place. After the longest season in history we now have potentially the shortest season ever. COVID-19 has reared it's ugly head again meaning no crowds still but there has been lots of goals and shock results to start the season.

After a storming 2 months we have a new leader with only 2 weeks to go. Craig Burkert has really set down a marker to lead Barney Le Fevre by just 11 points. We have another new leader after November. Andy Barnett has regained the lead from Joe (drop like a) Stone, with double champion Barney Le Fevre moving into 2nd place. Andy has a nice little lead with 906 points, Barney 869 points and Joe 863 points.

After a great start to the season Seamus Tunney has risen to the top of the league at the end of September. Seamus has broken the 500 point barrier with 508 points. So we're off and running for a new season. Unfortunately we haven't got quite as many players as last season, so the MOTM prize money is slightly reduced to £40 and £20 runner up. So another season comes to an end and our champion for the second year running was Barney Le Fevre. Barney had led for a long time and obviously knows something we don't! Another month nearer the 'Holy Grail' of being Fantasy Kick Off Champion. It's all settled down now with not much change in the Top 2 but the battle for 3rd is hotting up. Barney Le Fevre still leads with 2285 points and Neil Burke is quite a way back in 2nd on 2199 points. Last years champion Barney Le Fevre continues to forge ahead stretching his lead to 62 points over Craig Burkert in 2nd. Month 1 comes to an end and after the dust had settled Senai Xavier found himself out front with an impressive 204 points. In 2nd place was Craig Burkert with 190 points and close behind Steve Warnham and Paul Wheatcroft with 183 points. So our biggest season ever comes to an end with a dramatic end of season battle for the title. A busy month has seen a breakaway group emerge setting a rare old pace at the top. Overall the leader after the first 3 weeks is Karl Jones with 206 points, closely followed by Aidan Murray on 205 points and the leader for the first 2 weeks, Steve Lamb with 203 points.

Overall - It's all over and as expected Andy Salmons is crowned champion after an excellent season where he has led for a long time. Overall - It's getting to the business end of the season and  a place in the top 4 is the aim. Overall - Well what can I say! Andy Salmons' reaction to having his lead cut last week was to go and get a massive score the like that has never been seen in Fantasy Football history. It was almost matched by Max Richardson who has moved up to a season high 2nd place. Andy leads with 2111 points, Max in 2nd on 2014 points, Trish/Dave in 3rd place with 1978 points and then Alister Baldwin (me) dropped off the cliff and down to 4th place on 1971 points.

Overall - David George continues to lead but the pack is closing (well James Noon and a couple of others, if that can be called a pack!). David is now on 1230 points, only 16 points ahead of James Noon who's in 2nd place on 1214 points. Neil Thomas had another good week and moves up to 3rd Place on 1195 points and Ally Townend drops to 4th place with 1194 points.

Overall - David George continues to lead. David is now on 1198 points, 35 points ahead of James Noon who's in 2nd place on 1163 points and Ally Townend has moved back into 3rd Place on 1140 points. The big mover this week was Neil Thomas who jumped up to 4th place with a massive 94 points. 

MOTW was Mike Fetters with a massive 95 points, one of the highest scores this season.

Overall - David George continues to lead into the New Year. However there may be a glimmer of hope for the rest of us as he left Harry Kane on the bench and he scored 18 points! David is now on 1138 points, 42 points ahead of James Noon who's in 2nd place on 1096 points and Dickon Payne has moved into 3rd Place on 1075 points.

Overall - David George leads into the New Year. David is now on 1089 points but only 43 points ahead of James Noon who's in 2nd place on 1046 points and Ally Townend in 3rd Place on 1037 points.

MOTW was a 3 way tie between Alister Baldwin, Ben Wareing & Duncan Young with 55 points. My first MOTW ever!

A Boxing Day disaster for me! Transferred in Giroud for Rooney and put Giroud as Captain. Rooney highest scorer of the week, Giroud sent off -4 points.

Overall - David George was pegged back quite a lot this week. David is now on 1045 points and now only 44 points ahead of James Noon who scored a massive 91 points, and moved into 2nd place on 1001 points.

Overall - Another big week for David George. David is now on 983 points a massive 69 points ahead of Ally Townend is in 2nd place on 914 points.

Overall - David George had the highest weekly score but did lots of transfers. David is now on 907 points. Ally Townend is in 2nd place on 870 points and Dickon Payne has moved into 3rd on 855 points.

Week - 20 - A new year but the same old story for Man Utd, losing at home for the 4th time this season, this time to Tottenham. Arsenal stay top after 2 late, late goals against Cardiff. West Ham sink closer to the trapdoor with defeat at Fulham and Kevin Nolan was sent off for a petulant kick. Maybe they should appoint Top Cat as Manager, "He's the boss, he's a pip, he's the championship".

Week 18 - Man City beat Liverpool 2 - 1 but Brendan Rodgers is not a happy bunny with the officials. "I am not one that berates referees at all after games, I always respect them. Week 12 - Another goalkeeping master class this week. Artur Boruc 'Showboated' 15 times before losing the ball to Olivier Giroud and Hugo Lloris did a 'Sally Gunnell' with his kick to give Man City a chance to score after 10 seconds of the game. Mind you it was a sublime finish by 'Jesus of Nazareth'. Man City put 6 past Spurs as AVB's plan to play with no defence, midfield and attack was cruelly exposed. Week 11 - RVP downed his old club Arsenal to put Man Utd back in the title race. Mourinho preserved his record of never losing at the Bridge in the PL, only thanks to an injury time penalty after Ramires went down easier than "a one legged man in an arse kicking competition". Man City lost 1 - 0 to Sunderland (as usual) and Liverpool and Southampton both won to close the gap at the top. Week 10 - Asmir Begovic (Goalkeeper) scored for Stoke after just 12 seconds. Not sure who should be more embarrassed, Artur Boruc the Southampton goalkeeper or all of the Stoke team as Begovic is joint leading scorer!  Elsewhere Man City put 7 (seven) past a hapless Norwich and Arsenal went 5 points clear at the top after beating Liverpool 2 - 0.

Week 9 - Joe Hart what are you doing? He came rushing out of his box allowing Fernando "Mister Sitter" Torres to score a late winner for Chelsea. Week 8 - England qualified for Brazil 2014 thanks mainly to Andros Townsend, the first England player for 20 years to go forward with the ball!  In the Premier League there were lots of goals around with 3 games finishing 4 - 1 and one 4 - 0. The goal of the week was from Kasami of Fulham, with an absolute 'Worldie'.

Week 7 - A new England star is born (or is he another Belgian superstar), Adnan Januzaj scores 2 cracking goals to save David Moyes' job. Performance of the week though must go to West Ham who won beat Tottenham 3 - 0 at 3 point lane, a wake up call for AVB!

Jamie Hinchliffe claimed MOTW with 59 points, which also makes him MOTM leader but lots of people close behind (including me!). Ryan Grogan and Liam Ennis are pulling away at the top but as they say it's still early days.

Week 2 - This week was dominated by the defences with 9 teams keeping a clean sheet (none of mine though). Man Utd and Chelsea played out a bore 0 -0 draw in the first big clash of the season. We have an early pace setter in Ryan Grogan who's opened up a 9 point gap over Hiten Pandya with Kyle Webber a further 2 points back. I've had an absolute howler of a start and will be playing my Wildcard already!
