Month 1 comes to an end and after the dust had settled Senai Xavier found himself out front with an impressive 204 points. In 2nd place was Craig Burkert with 190 points and close behind Steve Warnham and Paul Wheatcroft with 183 points. Senai had the foresight to change a winning formula in week 3 and swapped Lukaku for Alli as Captain with the fore mentioned scoring 0 points!
I made an okay start but stuck with Lukaku therefore scoring 0 points (doubled to 0 Points) for my captain in week 3. At least I've avoided using my wildcard which usually comes out in week 2 or 3. However Schoolboy Error having Harry Kane, as everyone knows he can't be bothered scoring in August.
MOTM for August was Senai Xavier who bags the first £50 of the season with 204 points, with Craig Burkert picking up £25 as runner up with 190 points.
Rollover '100' - Not sure about this until I have final numbers but Senai Xavier puts down the first marker with 91 points in Week 1.
The Kick Off Cup will start in December.
