Month 2 September 2017
At the end of Month 2 we have a breakaway leader in Seamus Tunney, who has amassed 486 points by the end of September. He leads Paul Wheatcroft in 2nd place by 54 points (432 points) with last years champion Barney Le Fevre a further 5 points back on 427 points.
I had a good (not spectacular) month moving up to 16th place overall. It could've been better with a bit of luck and better choices but as they say "If my Granny had balls she'd be my Grandad". There is one hard luck story I'd like to share though. Marcus Alonso was happily heading towards a clean sheet against Stoke when he had a rush of blood in the 51st minute and picked up a yellow card. He then went on a mission to get sent off (which didn't happen) but instead every Fantasy Football manager's nightmare, a defender substituted in the 58th minute!
MOTM for Setember was Seamus Tunney with a massive 320 points, however he used Triple Captain, Bench Boost and Kitchen Sink to make sure of his £50. Aidan Murray picked up £25 as runner up with 286 points.
Rollover '100' - Slight change this season. The first person to score exactly 100 points will win £25, the last person will win £100 (could win both if the only person). If no one scores exactly 100 points it will go to the closest person (first person to be closest). Seamus Tunney is currently closest with 94 points in Week 5.
The Kick Off Cup will start in December.
Highest Weekly Score Leader - The highest weekly score so far is Seamus Tunney with 94 points in Week 5.
