So we're off and running for a new season. Unfortunately we haven't got quite as many players as last season, so the MOTM prize money is slightly reduced to £40 and £20 runner up. Our early leader after month 1 (3 weeks) is Andy Barnett with 241 points but he's closely followed by Trish/Dave and Darryl Bate who are only 1 point behind on 240 points. Seamus Tunney is a further 2 points back on 238 points. 
I got off to a nightmare start! All of that careful planning and I had 8 players scoring 13 points between them. It wasn't as if I left the points on the bench, which only contributed 1 point between them. I was already 70 points off the pace after 1 week. Picked up slightly in weeks 2 and 3 after playing the Wildcard. 
MOTM for August was Andy Barnett with 241 points, carrying on from where he left off last season. Andy got off to a storming start scoring 106 points in Week 1. He backed it up with 78 points in week 2 and just beat the challenge of Trish/Dave and Darryl Bate, who both scored 240 points.
Rollover '100' - The first person to score exactly 100 points will win £25, the last person will win £100 (could win both if the only person). If no one scores exactly 100 points it will go to the closest person (first person to be closest). In Week 2 Trish / Dave put down a marker of 103 points but it's early days.
The Kick Off Cup will start in December.
Highest Weekly Score Winner - The highest weekly score leader is Andy Barnett with his very creditable 106 points in week 1. 
The TJG League is also led by Andy Barnett after Month 1.
