Month 6 January 2019
A new year but no change in the Top 2, Andy Barnett has retained the lead from Barney Le Fevre, with Marvin Simmonds moving up into 3rd place. Andy leads with 1488 points, Barney 1481 points, then a bit of a gap to Marvin on 1442 points.
I was concentrating in staying in the Cup so played my second wildcard, only for it to go horribly wrong, only scoring 36 points and missing out on qualification by 7 points! Not all bad though, I have managed to secure mid table obscurity with little effort.
MOTM in January was dominated by Andy Salmons. Andy picked up 2 MOTW in January and used a good Bench Boost to make sure. The battle for 2nd was much closer with Karl Jones and Joe Stone tied for 2nd and Barney Le Fevre only 1 point behind. Andy finished on 275 points with Karl and Joe on 252 points.
Rollover '100' - The first person to score exactly 100 points will win £25, the last person will win £100 (could win both if the only person). If no one scores exactly 100 points it will go to the closest person (first person to be closest). In Week 2 Trish / Dave put down a marker of 103 points, which is still leading after Month 6.
The Kick Off Cup entered the Round of 32 with the Top 16 qualifying for the next round. Rohan Rawat and Kanav Sehgal just qualified with 277 points, ahead of unlucky 17th placed Seamus Tunney on 226 points and Darryl Bate on 225. See across for the 16 qualifiers.
Highest Weekly Score Winner - The highest weekly score leader is David George with his massive 112 points. This included a very impressive 82 point contribution from his midfield (Pogba 15, Hazard 15, Salah 24, Son 13 and Anderson 15).
The TJG League is also led by Andy Barnett with Marvin Simmonds 2nd after Month 6.
