So another exciting season comes to an end and we crown a new Champion. After a great finish to the campaign our 2018 / 19 champion is Craig Burkert.
Craig was relentless in the last few months and  managed to beat reigning champion Barney Le Fevre by just 27 points. In 3rd place was early season pace setter Andy Barnett and after a good final month Matt Saxby came in 4th. Dave Groves and Jon Banks had to settle for a share of 5th. Craig won with 2376 points, Barney on 2349 points, then Andy on 2324 points and Matt on 2314 points.
I had a last ditch attempt at glory in Week 38 but as usual went horribly wrong. Triple Captain on Sterling and about 8 transfers to try and get either 100 points or highest weekly score. No one was getting excited about my 73 points and 33rd place overall. I'll be back next season with a better strategy. 
MOTM in May was a close affair. Steve Lamb had a healthy lead coming into the final week and tried to play Triple Captain to make sure. Something went wrong and Ted Barnwell playing TC on Mane (45 points) just beat Steve by 1 point, or did he? When the dust settled overnight it transpired that Ted had made 2 transfers so lost 4 points, handing the top spot to Steve. Steve scored 168 points, Ted 165 points and Neil Burke not far behind on 161 points.  
Rollover '100' - The first person to score exactly 100 points will win £25, the last person will win £100 (could win both if the only person). Finally someone managed to score the magic 100 points in Week 25. That lucky person earning themselves £25 was Jon Banks. April saw 3 players score 99 points, May saw Ted Barnwell score 101 points but unbelievably Jon was the only person to score exactly 100 points in the whole season, so picks up a tidy £125 in total.
The Kick Off Cup Final saw Dave Groves and Ally Townend go head to head. A bad Week 37 put paid to Dave's chance of Cup glory and Ally won quite easily scoring 121 points to Dave's 96 points. Congratulations to Ally Townend on being the Kick Off Cup Champion 2018 / 19 and picking up £50. 
Highest Weekly Score Winner - Another £50 coming the way of Ally Townend who scored a massive 127 points in Week 35.
The TJG League was also won by Craig Burkert (£75), with Andy Barnett 2nd (£50) and Jon Banks 3rd (£30).
