Month 3 October 2018
We have another new leader after October. Joe Stone is just holding off Andy Barnett by 2 points. Joe has also managed to get to the top without resorting to Free Chips. Andy Barnett has been up there all season. Double champion Barney Le Fevre is lurking in third place just 5 points further back. After a great start to the season Seamus Tunney has slipped back a bit in October but still right up there.
Week 8 I had one of those horror 'schoolboy error' moments. I didn't need to do a transfer but just before the deadline I brought Holebas into my team, then decided he would score more points than Callum Wilson and benched Wilson. Holebas -1 point, Wilson 14 points (left on the bench). I didn't have a slightly better month though and slowly climbing the table.
MOTM in October was another close battle. The winner was Nathan Whetton with 209 points, just beating Becky Oliver by 2 points. I feel I must take some blame for Becky not winning. She showed me her team with Sadio Mane as Captain.  I said "hasn't he broken his arm". She changed him for Aguero as Captain and Mane scored 2 goals and 15 points! Karl Jones was outside the prize money on 196 points.
Rollover '100' - The first person to score exactly 100 points will win £25, the last person will win £100 (could win both if the only person). If no one scores exactly 100 points it will go to the closest person (first person to be closest). In Week 2 Trish / Dave put down a marker of 103 points, which is still leading after Month 3. 
The Kick Off Cup will start in December.
Highest Weekly Score Winner - The highest weekly score leader is Andy Barnett with his very creditable 106 points in week 1. 
The TJG League is also led by Joe Stone with Andy Barnett 2nd after Month 3.
