Month 7 February 2020
The big mover this month was Joe Stone, who wasn't in the top 3 at the end of January but now sits top of the tree with only 10 games to go. Mike Barnard has slipped to 2nd place but only 2 points behind Joe. Darryl Bate is still in touching distance but a bit of a gap is opening up with the rest. Joe has 1610 points, Mike is on 1608 points and Darryl on 1592 points. Ally Townend 1573 pts and Stewart Murdoch 1570 pts, make up the top 5. intend
MOTM for February was Joe Stone with 247 points. Joe played his wildcard in week 27 and got the highest weekly score for that week, then back it up in Week 28 to cross the line. Luke Hughes pushed him close and even tried the Free Hit in Week 28, but despite getting the highest weekly score, it was only 48 points and he came 6 points short. Joe picks up the £40 and Luke has to settle for £20. hey finished well clear of 2nd placed Nathan Sims with 265 points. Met Has just missed out by 2 points.
The wheels started to come off in Week 26, only scoring 32 points. Then in Week 27 the wheels and everything else (including the kitchen sink) came off. 2 players played 90 minutes and scored 0 points, my 3 reserves 0 points because of the Carabao Cup Final and 2 strikers injured 0 points. 14 points in total, less -4pts for too many transfers,
Rollover '100' - The first person to score exactly 100 points will win £25, the last person will win £100 (could win both if the only person). No one scored 100 points in February, but we have a marker,  Trish and Dave in Week 23 with 98 points. Can they hang on? Surely someone will get 100 points?.
The Kick Off Cup continued in February 2020 with the Top 8 qualifying for Round 4 in March 2020 {probably April now). Ben Wareing claimed 8th place. The unlucky player in 9th place was Darryl Bate. (see right for the 8 qualifiers).
Highest Weekly Score Leader - The Highest Weekly score, again it's Trish and Dave with 108 points scored in week 24. Triple Captain Mo Salah with 48 points was a big help.
The TJG League is also led by Joe Stone with 1610 points, Mike Barnard with 1608 points followed by Darryl Bate with 1592 points.
