Month 6 January 2022
What a start to year. Adam Kilbride started the year with a 59 point lead but that almost disappeared in one week to Max Richardson, who has had a flying start to the year. So, at the end of the month Adam still leads but now by only 4 points from Max. Kieran Follett also had a good month and has moved up to 3rd. Adam has 1492 points, Max 1488 points, Kieran 1467 points, and David Groves in 4th with 1488 points.
MOTM for January was Max Richardson with 229 points, a long way clear of Kieran Follett in second. It was only a 3 week month but Max was manager of the week for 2 of those weeks scoring 94 & 101 points. This was also Max's second MOTM of the season after being successful in October. Seamus Tunney was just outside the prize money for the second month running, missing out by just one point. Max wins £30 and Kieran wins £10.
Another very average month treading water in the lower reaches of the table. If people who don't even check their team are scoring more points than you, you know you're doing badly. I also crashed out of the cup way below the cut line.
Rollover '100' - First person to score exactly 100 points wins £25, the last person will win £100. In Week 9 we had our first person score the magical 100 points. Kieran Follett struck lucky when Jamie Vardy went off injured at half time only scoring 1 point and giving Kieran the 100 points and £25. *remember the last person(s) to score 100 points in the season wins the £100 jackpot.
The Kick Off Cup moved on to the 2nd round in January 2022. It was the Top 16 (actually 17) for the month of January (of those who qualified Top 32 in December) who qualify for the next round in February (see right).
Highest Weekly Score  - The Highest Weekly score also was in Week 9 with Max Richardson scoring a brilliant 129 points. 48 points for Salah, 24 points for Mount, 18 points for Foden, plus 3 big scores in defence. It's a very good score but will it be enough with the inevitable double weeks to come, with Triple Captain and Bench boost but a great week from Max.
The TJG League is led by Adam Kilbride, and despite having a poor month, Adam has increased his lead to a massive 70 points over Andy Barnett in 2nd, and Paul Rogers is in 3rd.
