Overall - Neil Urmatam retained his lead with 493 points but this week he thinks he might struggle - mind games already! Stewart Murdoch drops to 2nd on 482 points with David George still in 3rd place on 481 points. I'm only 2 points further back.

MOTW - My good friend Ally Townend has finally shown his teeth. Ally is a legendary Fantasy Footballer in the Ted Barnwell mould! Ally picked Alexis Sanchez as Captain scoring 32 points in a total of 68 points.

TJG Fantasy Football 2014 / 15 - Week 7

October 23, 2014
Week - 7

Overall we have another new leader in Stewart Murdoch on 388 points with myself and James Noon joint 2nd on 375 points.

We have the final prize money now (see above for how it will be dished out). I've set aside £15 to buy Gold, Silver and Bronze medals, inscribed with TJG Fantasy Football 2014/15. Also set aside £25 for the highest weekly score, currently held by Neil Thomas with 83 points but that will almost certainly be beaten on a double week.

Overall Leader - Stewart Murd...

TJG Fantasy Football - Week 38

May 14, 2014
Week - 38 - So the season is over and Man City are Champions again. Not quite as dramatic as 2 years ago mainly due to West Ham not having a shot on target! Liverpool did win but the damage had been done. Norwich were relegated after just failing to get the required 25 goals against Arsenal. Tim Sherwood was sacked by Spurs, presumably for not winning the league in his 6 months in charge. Pepe Mel was also sacked by West Brom but does anyone really care.

MOTW was my colleague Steve Lamb wi...

TJG Fantasy Football - Week 37

May 9, 2014
Week - 37 - It's all gone horribly wrong for Brendan Rodgers, this week Liverpool threw away a 3 nil lead to Crystal Palace with 11 minutes to go. There were 'Britneys' at Full Time for Luis Suarez, as it all became too much. Meanwhile Man City beat Everton away and thrashed Villa, with Edin Dzeko helping himself to 4 goals this week. Now only defeat at home to West Ham can stop City claiming a second title in 3 years. At the bottom Sunderland completed the great escape winning their last 4 ...

TJG Fantasy Football - Week 36

May 1, 2014
Week - 36 - Oh no, Steven Gerrard of all people slipped and let Demba Ba in on goal to score. Jose Mourinho then parked 2 buses in front of the Chelsea goal. All this handed the initiative back to Man City who duly beat Crystal Palace thanks to a possessed Ya Ya Toure. Liverpool now need local rivals Everton to do them a favour by not losing to Man City. Ryan Giggs took charge of Man Utd for the first time and started with a 4 - 0 win against Norwich. At the bottom Sunderland continued their...

TJG Fantasy Football - Week 35

April 23, 2014
Week - 35 - Liverpool made it 11 wins in a row but it was a tense finish as they held on to beat Norwich City 2 - 3. Jose Mourinho lost a PL match at Stamford Bridge for the first time in the 78th match going down 1 - 2 to Sunderland, who completed a remarkable week taking 4 points from trips to Man City and Chelsea. Liverpool v Chelsea next in what could be a title decider. Man Utd lost again, this time 2 - 0 at Everton and it was the final chance for 'The Chosen One' as David Moyes was vis...

TJG Fantasy Football - Week 34

April 22, 2014
Week - 34 - Liverpool beat Man City and Steven Gerrard cried. Who can blame him, as they can now smell their first title since 1990. Their week got even better when Man City failed to beat bottom club Sunderland at the Etihad and nearly lost. Arsenal enjoyed a bit of good fortune as well, when Everton lost at home to Crystal Palace 2 - 3 with man of the moment, Jason Puncheon scoring again.

MOTW was again Ted Barnwell with a massive score of 95 points.  Ted is also leader of April MOTM sur...
