Month 6 February 2021
30 days hath September, April, June, and November; All the rest have 31, excepting February alone, and that has 28 days clear, and 29 in each leap year (and 32 days in Fantasy Football). So the longest February on record finally came to a close on March 4th, and two time champion Barney Le Fevre continued his charge, by moving clear at the top for the first time this season. Barney has been on fire over the last 3 months, finishing 2nd in both December and January and 4th in February. Adam Kilbride has moved up to 2nd place and still keeping pace with Barney. David Groves dropped to 3rd after a poor month by his standards but is still in contention. Jason Parsons and Stewart Murdoch make up the Top 5, and Ally Townend just behind in 6th place. Barney is on 1745 points, Adam on 1730 points and David 1715 points.
MOTM for February was again closely fought with Stewart Murdoch just holding off Andy Salmons by 9 points. Stewart played Bench Boost and Triple Captain and also had a really good week in between, scoring 102 points. Andy also played Bench Boost and Triple Captain but just came up short. Stewart finished on 461 points, Andy on 452 points and Joe Stone was a distant 3rd on 433 points. Stewart wins £40 and Andy £20.
I finally had a good week in the last week of the month, scoring 104 points. However, I still found time for a 'Schoolboy error' by not selecting Mendy in goal in a double week and he kept 2 clean sheets for 16 points. That aside it was bang average stuff as I settle comfortably in mid-table obscurity.
Rollover '100' - The first person to score exactly 100 points wins £25, the last person will win £100. We didn't have to wait very long as in Week 2 new player Hazar Khan scored the magical 100 points to bag himself an early £25. However, this was matched in Week 14 by Trish Dutfield / Dave Targett, then in Week 22 Road Man put himself in pole position, only to be knocked off by Neil Pattison and Richard Collins in Week 26. Loads more players have come very close scoring 99 and 101 points. No prizemoney at the moment, *remember the last person(s) to score 100 points in the season wins the £100 jackpot.
The Kick Off Cup entered Round 3 in February 2021 with the Top 16 players for the MONTH of January being whittled down to 8 players in February. The lucky player qualifying in 8th place Ally Townend. The unlucky player who just missed out by 4 points was Jason Parsons (see right for the 8 qualifiers for the Quarter Finals). The Top 4 of those 8 in the MONTH of March will qualify for the Semi Finals.
Highest Weekly Score Leader - The first Highest Weekly score was in Week 2 with Hazar Khan scoring 100 points, that was overtaken in Week 14 by Barney Le Fevre with 103 points but that was blown out of the water in Week 19 by Metin H scoring a massive 140 points. He played Bench Boost which yielded 29 points and John Stones scored a massive 27 points on his own. Remember its the score shown on the website, so isn't adjusted for extra transfers.
The TJG League is led by Adam Kilbride on 1730 points, Mike Barnard is 2nd with 1656 points and Andy Barnett 3rd on 1658 points. Jon Banks just outside the podium places on 1655 points.

Month 5 January 2021
Month 5 - January, saw last years champion David Groves maintain his lead but he has a new challenger in two time champion Barney Le Fevre. Barney has been on fire over the last 2 months, finishing 2nd in both December and January. Adam Kilbride has dropped to 3rd but is still well in contention. Jason Parsons and Ally Townend have moved into the Top 5, and Mike Fetters just behind in 6th place. David is on 1325 points, Barney on 1320 points and Adam on 1308 points.

Month 4 December 2020
Month 4 - December, was a long month with 6 game weeks, and it's been a theme of this season, with only Andy Barnett maintaining his place in the Top 5. The new leader is last year's champion, David Groves, who has not only come from outside the Top 5 at the start of the month, he has built up a healthy lead over Adam Kilbride in 2nd place and Scott Lauder in 3rd. Andy Barnett 4th and Mike Barnard 5th, make up the Top 5. David is on 1003 points, Adam on 974 points and Sco...

Month 2 October 2020
Month 2 - October saw a lot of people staking a claim for top spot but when the dust settled Nathan Whetton was top of the pile with 449 points. Only one point further back is Raj Lal on 448 points, Road Man has dropped to 3rd with 437 points and Hazar Khan stays in the top 4 with 433 points.

Month 1 September 2020
After the longest season in history we now have potentially the shortest season ever. COVID-19 has reared it's ugly head again meaning no crowds still but there has been lots of goals and shock results to start the season.
The Fantasy Kick Off league is back and we welcome some new players and lose a few but overall there are 56 players (4 more than last season) with a prize pot of £1,120 (see above).
Month 1 - September, got us off to a flying start and at the end of t...

Month 10 July 2020
So the longest season in history finally comes to an end. Liverpool were crowned Champions, Man Utd got back in the Champions League and Leeds are back in the big time after 16 years.
The Fantasy Kick Off league was decided in the longest month in history and Dave Groves had a storming month to take the title. Dave had saved his Bench Boost until Week 34+ and they yielded 30 points, and remarkably was able to save Triple Captain until the final week. Matt Saxby moved up to f...

Month 9 June 2020
Football finally returned (with no crowds) and Liverpool were duly crowned Champions, before being roundly thrashed by Man City.
The leader before lockdown was Joe Stone, but after Week 32 he is now Joe 'dropped like a' Stone, not even in the Top 10 but there are 6 game weeks in July, so not out of it. In fact it is tighter at the top than Daniel Levy's wallet! Incredibly only 9 points separates the Top 4 players. Mike Barnard has regained top spot with 1894 points, closely fo...

Month 7 February 2020
The big mover this month was Joe Stone, who wasn't in the top 3 at the end of January but now sits top of the tree with only 10 games to go. Mike Barnard has slipped to 2nd place but only 2 points behind Joe. Darryl Bate is still in touching distance but a bit of a gap is opening up with the rest. Joe has 1610 points, Mike is on 1608 points and Darryl on 1592 points. Ally Townend 1573 pts and Stewart Murdoch 1570 pts, make up the top 5. intend
MOTM for February was Joe Sto...

Month 6 January 2020
Still incredibly close at the top with only 6 points separating the top 3 players but we have new players in the mix. Mike Barnard has moved from 3rd to Top the league at the end of January with 1396 points. Stewart Murdoch has moved into 2nd place on 1392 points, with Darryl Bate close behind on 1390 points. These 3 have started a little breakaway group.
MOTM for January was Trish Dutfield / Dave Targett scoring a very impressive 297 points for the month. They really piled...
