Month 5 December 2016
A busy month has seen a breakaway group emerge setting a rare old pace at the top. When the dust had settled at the end of 2016 (well actually 1st Jan) early season leader Karl Jones had regained top spot with 1114 points. Barney Le Fevre had dropped to 2nd on 1093 points, closely followed by Ben Wareing on 1088 points and Danny Barran on 1083 points.
A very average month for me with the highlight being putting Christian Eriksen as captain and scoring 38 points. Another highlight was finally dropping John Stones after scoring an average of a point a week! I feel a second Wildcard coming early January!
MOTM for December was Karl Jones who picks up his 2nd £50 of the season. Karl scored 390 points in December just 5 points more than runner up Danny Barran. Danny picks up £25 for his efforts though. Ben Wareing just missed out only 3 points behind Danny.
Rollover '100' Winner - We have a winner! Trish Dutfield / Dave Targett scored the magic 100 points in week 10 to scoop the £50 Jackpot. The leader of the 2nd rollover is Andy McIntosh with 104 points in Week 14.* I also have some exciting news about the £50 contingency, what ever is left at the end of the season will go to the player who finishes in that position. e.g. if it's still £50 the person who finishes 50th overall will win the money.
The TJG Cup started in December with the Top 32 players in the month of December qualifying for the next round (see below right). Ravi Josh was the final qualifier, with 3 players missing out by 1 point (Nathan Sims, Paul Wheatcroft and Mark Jardine). To qualify in January you have to finish in the Top 16 of those 32 left based on the month of January.
Highest Weekly Score Leader - Andy McIntosh - 104 points (Week 14)

Month 4 November 2016
After another shortened month because of Internationals we have a new leader in Barney Le Fevre with 744 points but after a quiet period, serial Fantasy Football Manager Ally Townend is showing his teeth in 2nd place on 735 points. Leader after October, Dave Groves has dropped to 3rd place with 733 points and Karl Jones is back in the frame on 724 points in 3rd place.
I had a good month that almost ended in winning the MOTM, except I played triple captain on Philippe Cout...

Month 3 October 2016
We have a much changed Top 4 after an excitingOctober. The leader after 10 weeks is Dave Groves with 597 points, closely followed by Barney Le Fevre on 592 points and then Jonathan Lush with 574 points and James Kindred in 4th on 573 points.
A very poor month for me with Schoolboy error after Schoolboy error, culminating in week 10 where the theory of having Ibrahimovic as Captain was a nightmare reality where he had 78 shots on target all saved by Tom Heaton! Unbelievably t...

Month 2 September 2016
Overall the leader after 7 weeks is still Karl Jones with 417 points, closely followed by Seamus Tunney on 406 points and then Dave Groves and Aidan Murray with 401 points.
I've made an okay start with one really bad week only scoring 28 points. I recovered well in Week 6 thanks to Philippe Coutinho as captain (28 points) and ably assisted by Adam Llalana (15 points). After Month 2 I'm placed 20th, 49 points off the lead. I would be higher but I have less clean sheets tha...

Month 1 August 2016
Overall the leader after the first 3 weeks is Karl Jones with 206 points, closely followed by Aidan Murray on 205 points and the leader for the first 2 weeks, Steve Lamb with 203 points.
MOTM for August was Karl Jones with 206 points but that doesn't tell the full story! After 2 weeks Steve Lamb was the clear leader with only Aidan Murray seriously challenging. Steve had gone big early tempted by the £50 MOTM prize, Triple Captain and Bench Boost used in first 2 weeks. Me...

Week - 38
Overall - It's all over and as expected Andy Salmons is crowned champion after an excellent season where he has led for a long time. Andy Salmons wins with 2305 points, Max Richardson secured 2nd place after a great finish to the season on 2234 points. 3rd place was what is was all about in the final week and Alister Baldwin (me) claimed it with 2176 points, just 2 points ahead of Trish & Dave in 4th with 2174 points.
What a finish to the season! I didn't have a great last week with ...

Week - 37
Overall - Only one week to go and the Top 2 are looking good but the real drama is for 3rd place, with only 6 points separating 3rd and 5th place. Andy Salmons leads with 2260 points, Max Richardson 2nd on 2197 points, then Will Donnelly has moved into a season high 3rd place on 2133 points, Alister Baldwin (me) in 4th on 2130 points and Trish/Dave just another 3 points back in 5th on 2127 points.
It looked like being another disastrous double week before Payet and Martial turned up ...

Week - 36
Overall - It's getting to the business end of the season and a place in the top 4 is the aim. No change in the top 2 as they both get 39 (35) points in week 36. Andy Salmons leads with 2198 points, Max Richardson 2nd on 2099 points, then Alister Baldwin (me) started the recovery from the hell that was week 34 and back in 3rd place on 2050 points, with Trish/Dave slipping to 4th on 2045 points.
A slightly better week with Martial turning up 2 weeks too late! De Bruyne didn't turn u...

Week - 35
Overall - A quiet week after the carnage of Week 34. Andy Salmons leads with 2163 points, Max Richardson 2nd on 2064 points, Trish/Dave in 3rd place with 2021 points and Alister Baldwin (me) in 4th place on 2003 points.
I need to get my act together to stay in the prizemoney. I keep picking players (De Bruyne) who not only don't score me loads of points, they don't score any points! Need to get lucky with the Triple Captain.
MOTW - Mark Taylor with 61 points. Good use of 3 Leicester C...

Week - 34
Overall - Well what can I say! Andy Salmons' reaction to having his lead cut last week was to go and get a massive score the like that has never been seen in Fantasy Football history. It was almost matched by Max Richardson who has moved up to a season high 2nd place. Andy leads with 2111 points, Max in 2nd on 2014 points, Trish/Dave in 3rd place with 1978 points and then Alister Baldwin (me) dropped off the cliff and down to 4th place on 1971 points.
All my hard work gone in a flash...
