Month 2 September 2016
Overall the leader after 7 weeks is still Karl Jones with 417 points, closely followed by Seamus Tunney on 406 points and then Dave Groves and Aidan Murray with 401 points.
I've made an okay start with one really bad week only scoring 28 points. I recovered well in Week 6 thanks to Philippe Coutinho as captain (28 points) and ably assisted by Adam Llalana (15 points). After Month 2 I'm placed 20th, 49 points off the lead. I would be higher but I have less clean sheets than George Best in his heyday! (Just realised we have people young enough to not know who George Best was!). 
MOTM for September was a tie between Joe Stone and Richard Collins, both scoring 249 points. I was a bit surprised that Week 7 counted as September considering only one game was played in that month. Fortunately it didn't change the top 2 only that they tied but both should be happy to pick up £37.50 each. Seamus Tunney was only just behind on 246 points.
