Month 7 February 2017
The Top 2 have made a break for it. Barney Le Fevre leads the way on 1547 points and Ally Townend is only 1 point behind on 1546 points. After that there's a big gap to Ben Wareing on 1501 points, then another big gap to Andy McIntosh 1460 points in 4th place.
Another very uninspiring month of Fantasy Football management saw me drop further back to 41st place and now over 250 points off the lead. Time to concentrate on the MOTM or the magical 100 points! Mind you I'm drifting slowly towards 50th place with it's £50 prize!
MOTM for February was the form player over the last 2 months, Ally Townend, who upgraded from his 2nd place in January. Ally scored 224 points and in 2nd place was Simon Banks with 214 points. Andy McIntosh missed out on any prizemoney 9 points further back. Ally picks up £50 for his troubles and Simon walks away with £25.
Rollover '100' Winner - We have a winner! Trish Dutfield / Dave Targett scored the magic 100 points in week 10 to scoop the £50 Jackpot. The leader of the 2nd rollover is Joe Stone with 98 points in Week 21.* I also have some exciting news about the £50 contingency, what ever is left at the end of the season will go to the player who finishes in that position. e.g. if it's still £50 the person who finishes 50th overall will win the money.
The TJG Cup entered the Final 16 stage in February with the Top 8 players in the month of February qualifying for the next round (see below right). David Fieldhouse just secured 8th place with 173 points, just beating Ravi Josh by 1 point. Dave Groves and David MacFarlane must have the same team as they both got the same score for 2 months running, unfortunately February wasn't lucky for them. To qualify in March you have to finish in the Top 4 of those 8 left based on the month of March.
Highest Weekly Score Leader - Andy McIntosh - 104 points (Week 14), Darryl Bate (Week 26)
