It would appear that March has finished because of the International break. Barney Le Fevre leads the way on 1754 points and has opened up a bit of a lead over Ally Townend who is 2nd on 1715 points. Ben Wareing has really closed the gap this month and now only 14 points behind Ally on 1701 points, then a big gap to Danny Barran 1643 points in 4th place.
I had a bit of an experiment this month that went horribly wrong! 11 transfers in the last week and scored -15 points. My monthly score was 37 points. I'm now 64th overall so I need to start drifting the other way for that 50th place but still the chance of the 100 point jackpot which currently stands at £95.
MOTM for March was Marc O'Brien, who played a very clever game to secure the £50 prize with 236 points. Our overall Leader, Barney Le Fevre bagged himself some more prizemoney with 211 points, just beating last years champion Andy Salmons by 1 point.
Rollover '100' Winner - We have a winner! Trish Dutfield / Dave Targett scored the magic 100 points in week 10 to scoop the £50 Jackpot. The leader of the 2nd rollover is Joe Stone with 98 points in Week 21.* I also have some exciting news about the £50 contingency, what ever is left at the end of the season will go to the player who finishes in that position. e.g. if it's still £50 the person who finishes 50th overall will win the money.
The TJG Cup entered the Final 8 stage in March with the Top 4 players in the month of March qualifying for the next round (see below right). David Fieldhouse again secured the final place (4th place) with 185 points but this month he was well safe beating Ally Towned by 16 points. So our Semi Finalists are Barney Le Fevre, Ben Wareing, Max Richardson and David Fieldhouse. To qualify in April you have to finish in the Top 2 of those 4 left based on the month of April.
