Month 9 April 2017
We're really getting to the business end of the season now and we have a 3 horse race (possibly 4). After another great month Ben Wareing has hit the top! Ben has 2087 points, 20 points ahead of Barney Le Fevre in 2nd place. Ally Townend has dropped to 3rd place but still in contention with 2035 points. Andy McIntosh is a bit further back but still has an outside chance.
I did a lot better this month and i'm now all over 50th place like a rash. Probably peaked too early though. This has been a very poor season after finishing 3rd last season, I need to have a stern word with myself over the summer.
MOTM for April was Seamus Tunney, who romped to the highest monthly score of the season with 421 points. Andy McIntosh just held off Ben Wareing to claim 2nd place with 394 points.
Rollover '100' Winner - We have a winner! Trish Dutfield / Dave Targett scored the magic 100 points in week 10 to scoop the £50 Jackpot. The leader of the 2nd rollover is Joe Stone with 98 points in Week 21. A couple of close shaves for Joe. Seamus Tunney equalled his 98 points but Joe was there first, then Mark Lanning had 100 points only for David De Gea to get 3 bonus points! * I also have some exciting news about the £50 contingency, what ever is left at the end of the season will go to the player who finishes in that position. e.g. if it's still £50 the person who finishes 50th overall will win the money.
The TJG Cup entered the Final 4 stage in April with the Top 2 players in the month of April qualifying for the next round (see right). David Fieldhouse again secured the final place (2nd place) with 316 points just beating Barney Le Fevre with 313 points. Ben Wareing and David Fieldhouse will compete the final in May. The cup winner will be the one (Barney or David) who scores the most points in May.
