TJG Fantasy Football - Week 27

Week - 27 - The Top 4 all won (Chelsea with a late, late winner over Everton). Game of the weekend was at Anfield where Liverpool came out on top 4 - 3 in a thriller with Swansea. Sturridge and Henderson helping themselves to a brace each. Giroud also bagged himself a couple of goals as Arsenal won 4 - 1 against Sunderland. Another contender for miss of the season goes to Edin Dzeko who didn't know his 'arse from his elbow' with the goal at his mercy. He did however make good contact with the post while venting his frustration!
MOTW was Ben Eddings with a massive 98 points, again done with a player (Dimitar Berbatov) that doesn't even play in this country, in his team. This 98 points was also enough for Ben Eddings to win MOTM for February with 273 points. MOTM turned into a battle of who could have the most players injured or playing in another league but still beat everyone else! Cary Hastings was second only because he had Taarabt, Ramsey and Aguero. After the dust settled Ted Barnwell retained Top spot but Karl Jones moved right up to 2nd place.
See below for the 8 qualifier's for the Quarter Finals of the TJG Super Cup. A great effort from Jill Desmond, Andy McIntosh and especially Karl Jones who went from 14th to claim the 8th and final spot.
Another very average week and I now have 3 Man City players and they don't play because they play Sunderland in the Capital One Cup final #schoolboyerror
