TJG Fantasy Football - Week 29

Week - 29 - Not many games this weekend with the FA Cup Quarter finals. Chelsea beat Spurs 4 - 0 which was made a bit flattering with 2 late goals from Demba Ba. The first goal was scored by their 49 year old striker Samuel Eto'o but his back gave way in the celebration (see above). Mourinho would still rather be 9 points behind with 3 games in hand! Man Utd moved closer to that Europa League spot that all their fans crave with a comfortable 0 - 3 win at West Brom. Cardiff beat Fulham 3 - 1 in the big 6 pointer at the foot of the table. Looks like Top Cat could be their next manager "He's the boss, he's a pip, he's the Championship".
MOTW was Rahul Puntambekar with an impressive 64 points considering only half the teams played. This was Rahul's parting gift to TJG having left the company on Thursday. Ted Barnwell now leads March MOTM with 126 points, 5 ahead of Rahul and Ben Wareing. Ted and Ben are off on one of their adventures again, having opened up a healthy overall lead. That Monkey that was on Ted's back early season has well and truly been hung out to dry!
See below for the 8 qualifier's for the Quarter Finals of the TJG Super Cup. Sam Bowcher leads after week 2, with Stewart Murdoch, Serif Girgin and Ben Gale in the qualifying positions and looking pretty comfortable.
Not a bad week for me with 42 points but still drifting in mid-table obscurity.
Overall Leader Week 29 - Ted Barnwell - 1769 points
MOTW - Rahul Puntambekar - 64 points
MOTM March Leader - Ted Barnwell - 126 points
